Senior Level Layout Design Engineer needed for a start date in June, 2011. Contract expected to go at least 9 months, but could go longer than two years. They are looking for experience in:

Future Arizona Openings for IC Layout Designers
We are seeking individuasl who will be responsible for layout of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits on modern Analog CMOS, PowerSense BiCMOS, Bipolar, and High Voltage processes. Responsibilities also include timely and accurate layout verification (LVS), and design rule checking (DRC). A qualified individual will be familiar with basic physical semiconductor concepts, and be able to use modern layout tools to apply those concepts to real designs. The layout designer will work closely with design engineers using Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics design tools to create next generation products with off-line (AC/DC) and consumer and industrial DC/DC power management emphasis.
Associate degree in Semiconductor Mask Design or Equivalent thereof and 5+ years of directly related
experience.
Competency in the use of silicon CAD tools including Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics tool suites in the
UNIX and/or Linux operating environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Should be able to work independently and be self motivated, as well as seek out and work well under the
direction of design engineering.

Contract in Malibu, California for a Senior Layout Design Engineer with Analog and Mixed Signal Experience Needed Immediately!
Current opening in Malibu, California for a Senior Level Layout Design Engineer available. Contract is expected to start as soon as possible and is expected to last at least three months. Customer has advised this could become a permanent hire position. They are looking for:
1. Mixed-Signal Layout
2. Some digital Layout
3. Automated Place and Route
4. Layout for matching, speed, reliability, ESD protection
5. SiGe / CMOS and even III-V, multiple IBM design kits
6. Cadence / calibre / assura
7. Any design experience (particularly in RF / ROIC’s / mm-Wave) would be an additional plus!

Contract in Tempe, Arizona for a Senior Analog Design Engineer Needed Immediately!
This position is for an Analog Design Engineer - specifically an AMS Modeling
Engineer
Candidate will:
- Work as part of a team with analog
designers who design blocks
- Gather information to create the AMS Model
Specific Required Knowledge/Skills:
- at least 2 years experience in
creating a model for Analog Design (AMS Models) for analog blocks
- at least
5 years experience in Analog and Mixed Signal design and/or verification

BSEE degree
- Proficient in cadence simulation environment (more than just
basic exposure)
- Previously written AMS models for analog blocks, including
LNM, ADC's, DAC's
Preferred:
- RF knowledge, general analog support
- In addition to analog experience, a solid skill set with digital design
- Specific knowledge of generating liberty models -- big plus!
